JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated professional to join our team as an Executive & Account Assistant supporting Office Operations. This role is essential to helping our organization function at its highest level — providing broad administrative and operational support to the President and Senior Staff, while also coordinating closely with other Account Assistants and Managers. This is a full-time, in-person position at our D.C. office.
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Answering, screening, and directing incoming calls Supporting calendar management for senior team members, including scheduling internal and external meetings Assisting with domestic travel arrangements, including itineraries and logistics Drafting and proofreading correspondence and communications for clients and donors Preparing meeting materials, memos, and event briefings Assisting with the planning and coordination of events, conferences, and client meetings, including venue research, vendor outreach, and on-site support Communicating with vendors and venues to help ensure contracts, logistics, and timelines stay on track; escalating issues to the appropriate team members as needed Providing administrative support for donor stewardship and solicitation efforts Preparing expense reports and maintaining database lists and records Working with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook Supporting day-to-day office operations, including maintaining office space and supply inventory Running errands and assisting with other time-sensitive tasks as needed Taking on additional responsibilities and special projects as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
Highly Organized: Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proactive & Reliable: Takes initiative, follows through on tasks, and can anticipate team needs; must be able to work in person five days a week. Personable & Professional: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact confidently and respectfully with leadership, clients, and vendors while maintaining discretion. Team player: Builds positive working relationships, approachable, and willing to support colleagues. Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered. Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience in operations, scheduling, executive support, or a similar role is preferred.
